2 Reform of the Water Resources Management System

The "Three Red Lines" control index were expanded to cover the provincial,city and county levels.The Ministry of Water Resources carried out an evaluation of the water resources management system of 2014,and formulated implementation plannings to distribute water for 17 of 25 major rivers which flow across province boundaries.The national standards regarding a water quota for the production of copper,lead and citric acid are published.The pollutant assimilative capacity of the water functional zones of major rivers and lakes,and the phased plan for total emission control are formulated and sent the data to the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
